What is a Code of Ethic by definition?
"A code of ethics is a set of official standards of conduct that the members of a group are expected to uphold. Code of ethics could also refer to an individual’s personal values or sense of right and wrong."
My personal code of ethics is a heartfelt blend of wisdom gained through my spiritual journey, education, study, personal experiences and the standards set by my esteemed memberships in the Association for Spiritual Integrity and the Tarosophy Tarot Association. These affiliations reflect my unwavering commitment to upholding the highest ethical standards in spiritual and tarot practices – a dedication that sets a benchmark in our field. By creating a safe, trusting space for our explorations, I ensure that your well-being and growth remain at the forefront of our work together, offering you an experience rooted in respect & compassion that truly honors the profound nature of our practice.

Never
Discriminate on any basis. I treat all my clients with care and loving support. I am committed to continually deepening my empathy, compassion, and understanding for all beings.
Always
​Respect client confidentiality. All information shared between Persephone Tarot and the client will be kept secure. If a client wishes to share their reading with others, that is at their own discretion. However, I must disclose information if I believe someone may be at risk of harm or could harm themselves or others, in accordance with Canadian law.
Inform
My approach and practice of Tarot with my clients, including relevant background, history, and other information. I also incorporate my personal experiences, and other spiritual & wellness training I have had into my readings. I will always provide education and reassurance regarding cards that may be perceived as scary or negative (such as the Death card or the Tower).
Uphold
Professional Boundaries. This includes, but is not limited to, spiritual, emotional, and physical boundaries. Clients are not obligated to share any personal information at any point; if they choose to do so, it is entirely at their discretion. Relationships outside of readings will be treated with the utmost care.
Provide
High Standards of Practice and Safety. Any advice or suggestions provided will be relevant solely to the reading. I will never make claims, abuse the power of suggestion, or communicate information that falls outside my practice and values. I am committed to honesty, and my readings are grounded in a pragmatic approach—where education and intuition combine to offer valuable perspectives on your life. While I will not make promises or definitive predictions, I will highlight potential trajectories and possibilities.
Act with Integrity
I vow to always act with honesty. I won’t have the answers to all of your questions—no one does! In my opinion, anyone who makes that claim is being disingenuous. I will always communicate my limitations. I welcome feedback and constructive criticism and am willing to address any miscommunications that may arise. Please never hesitate to contact me.
